Description:Myriad Genetic Laboratories, Inc. is seeking an experienced marketing professional to direct all marketing activities and initiatives for our predictive medicine portfolio comprised of BRACAnalysis®, COLARIS®, COLARIS AP® and MELARIS® targeted primarily to the oncology, surgery and women’s health clinical markets. The Director of Marketing will manage a marketing team of 6 comprised of product management, and marketing communications personnel and will direct the development of product and market strategies to include all aspects of promotion, material development, agency management, budgeting and expense management. This person will work closely with the senior management of sales, medical services, customer services, regulatory affairs, managed care and others to ensure well-coordinated, quality execution of effective, responsible marketing initiatives.
Duties:The successful candidate will have/be:

An active manager and developer of personnel capable of identifying, nurturing, applying and promoting the full potential of each individual in his/her department as well as the team as a whole
An effective communicator capable of achieving understanding, cooperation and commitment from stakeholders at all levels both inside and outside the organization using all potential means of oral and written communication.
An accomplished healthcare marketer having demonstrated both individual and managerial achievement in the successful execution of dynamic, integrated marketing initiatives in the clinical community.
A change agent capable of creating new paradigms for marketing novel products and/or services to the marketplace. Also experienced in leading a team to adapt to a changing, growing marketplace and company.
A strong financial analyst with demonstrated experience in developing both department and project budgets, evaluating credible ROI and tracking progress toward financial commitments.
A student of the marketplace with demonstrated achievement in evaluating market conditions and change and developing product/market strategies to achieve maximum commercial success in both the short and long term.
A quality mindset with a dedication to continuous improvement, creative problem solving, project management, zero defects and a data driven culture while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
A strong working knowledge of the oncology and women’s health marketplace. Also experience in the diagnostics industry including relevant regulatory requirements and changes is a plus.
An accomplished team leader capable of significant achievement through others regardless of their function or reporting responsibilities.
A visionary strategist capable of defining a long range goal and pursuing it through a tactical plan of short-term objectives designed to achieve that goal.
Qualifications: MBA or equivalent (undergraduate science/engineering degree preferable)
10+ years in healthcare industry (preferably oncology or women’s health)
5+ years in healthcare marketing (preferably oncology diagnostics)
3+ years in personnel management (preferably managing managers)
Significant achievement in product marketing
Demonstrated project management experience
Demonstrated team leadership
