Area Manager-Urology

Description:Sales Manager to hire, coach, and lead a sales team to promote a new product to Urologists. This position can be located anywhere where there is a major airport.
Duties:The primary responsibility of the Area Manager position is to increase the revenue from their defined Area.

Area Managers are responsible for the management of the Account Executives within their region. The management of the Account Executives includes the implementation of the sales strategy for the Account Executive’s territory, providing feedback on sales calls and territory management. Managers must also ensure that Account Executives maintain high standards of product knowledge, effective physician target lists and frequent sales call activity. Regular field travel with Account Executives is mandatory. Administrative requirements for the Area Manager include field travel summaries, developmental plans and area business reviews.



Additionally, Managers are responsible for the implementation of new strategies, customer database systems, marketing concepts and potential new tests as directed by the organization.This individual would have responsibilities to hire a sales force of 6 Account Executives in major US markets to launch a new urology product. This individual would assist in product launch acitvities and training for the new sales force, field travel (80% travel), and provide feedback to the corporate office. With success, this sales force would expand to include additional Managers and Account Executives.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher, exemplary sales performance, sales management and/or urology sales experience preferred.
