| Description: | Myriad Genetic Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual with medical billing/collection experience to fill the position of insurance Reimbursement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting on outstanding balances for a specific group of payors to assure maximum reimbursement. A proven track record of experience in DSO & aged receivable reduction is highly preferred. |
| Duties: | •Collecting on all outstanding balances for a specific group of payors to ensure timely payment and contractual reimbursement
•Working aged accounts
•Submitting appeals or corrected claims
•Processing adjustments as needed
•Researching, reconciling and refunding credit balance accounts

| Qualifications: | •Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working in medical billing/collections.
•Blue Cross Blue Shield experience is a plus.
•Must have knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding.
•Excellent organizational, communication, multitasking and teamwork skills.
