| Description: | Myriad Genetics is seeking a entry level automation engineer candidate to work full time in our product development group. The job will be in support of new product development and focuses on programming on lab robotics and general applications. |
| Duties: | The candidate will participate in maintaining, design and development of new automation system in the laboratories for operations. The candidate will be involved in improving and trouble-shooting current platform and introduce new technologies. Writing and maintain robot code and application for LIMS integration and control stand alone instruments will be the core responsibilities. |
| Qualifications: | Minimum:
1. BS in Bioinformatics, Computer Science or relative degrees
2. Solid experiences in programming and script languages
3. Good communications and excellent documentation skills.
Preferred:
1. Knowledge of Biology, molecular genetics is a plus
2. Experience with VB.Net and Vbscript, HTML is preferred
3. Experiences of programming closely related to instruments and communication protocols
4. The perfect candidate need demonstrate the ability of fast learning; detail oriented; motivated and team work
