| Description: | Myriad Genetics Laboratories is looking for (1) qualified candidate to fill the role of Associate Director of Pharmacology. The Pharmacology Medical Liaison will provide expertise in pharmacokinetics and pharmacology to health-care providers and Myriad employees. This is a regional position that requires a minimum of 2-3 days in the field and the remaining spent working from a home office. Travel is within a defined geographic region. Additional travel to the Myriad home office in Salt Lake City, UT will also be required. |
| Duties: | The qualified applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
•Provide education and support to health-care providers in the implementation of Myriad pharmacokinetic products into their practice through in-person meetings, lectures in addition to telephone conversations and e-mail.
•Development of relationships with key opinion leaders for speaking engagements and to initiate and facilitate research projects.
•Work directly with the Associate Director of Pharmacology to implement the goals and strategies of Myriad.
•Interacts with Myriad sales teams to provide expertise in Myriad pharmacokinetic products.
•Provide training and continuing education in Myriad pharmacokinetic products to Myriad’s sales force through teaching modules, formal presentations and review of pertinent publications.
•Interact with other departments within Myriad—Marketing, Managed Care and Medical Services—in the development and implementation of pharmacokinetic products.

| Qualifications: | •Doctorate in Pharmacology or related field
•Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills
•Experience—preferably 5 years—in the education of health care providers and pharmacology staff in connection with pharmacology products
•Must be willing to travel within the defined geographic area and able to work independently.
