| Description: | Drug Discovery Chemistry, purification and characterization (3300-1207):
Myriad Pharmaceuticals has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly-motivated and results-oriented Ph.D./M.S./B.S. chemist with practical experience in UV- and/or MS-based HPLC and SFC purification, analytical LCMS, SFC, and NMR. The successful candidate will be part of a fast-paced chemistry research department in a Drug Discovery Program that is focused on the advancement of small-molecules through Discovery, Lead Optimization and Pre-Clinical development pipelines.

| Duties: | Candidates will be expected to work on a variety of small-molecule separations, and purifications using semi-preparative, preparative, and analytical HPLC, and utilize standard organic compound characterization techniques, such as MS, IR, and NMR. Responsibilities will also include operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the Department’s chromatographic and spectroscopic equipment. |
| Qualifications: | Ph.D./M.S./B.S. in chemistry, with a verifiable track record of appropriate proficiencies and 1-2 years of relevant practical research laboratory experience. Thorough understanding and strong hands-on experience in HPLC, and LCMS are required. Familiarity and understanding of NMR, SFC and SPE are a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. |
