| Duties: | The Billing and Collections Supervisor is responsible for the day to day supervision of a team of Reimbursement Specialists focused on the collection of insurance claims for genetic testing services. The Supervisor will interact with patients, clinicians, insurers, the Billing Manager and company executives to coordinate the training of staff, implementation of new procedures, and the fulfillment of departmental objectives. |
| Qualifications: | Minimum Requirements:
Qualified candidates must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, be dependable, detail-oriented, professional, able to build teams and motivate employees while working under pressure.
Preferred Skills:
A firm working knowledge of ICD-9, CPT and HCPCS coding, DSO reduction, accounts receivable, HIPPA, and EDI claims submission methods. Supervisory experience in a medical collection environment is strongly preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with college experience or equivalent industry certification. |
